That is what you can expect from us.

You will experience the best fly fishing of the Chubut province. From the famous spring creek special for dry flies and 20 inchers rainbows of Arroyo Pescado, through the hyper technical Rio Rivadavia to the lakes and streams of Rio Pico, territory of giants waiting for your fly. And Corcovado at the right time, for the biggest Brookies of the whole Patagonia. So you can fish all the sporting fishes in one place, Landlocked Salmon (salmo salar Sebago), Rainbow trout (salmo gairdnerii), Brown Trout (salmo fario) and the Brook Trout (salvelinus fontinalis).

PATAGONIA ARGENTINA
Esquel – Parque Nacional Los Alerces - Río Pico

Fishing the Parque Nacional Los Alerces, will give you the opportunity to enjoy the most beautiful places in Patagonia. Also if you are lucky enough you can hook a landlocked salmon, but this area is well known for its good size brookies and Rainbows. Another river for landlocked is the Carrileufu only in certain times. So if we are lucky enough we will get the picture!!!

We will also float rivers like Chubut during 4 days, so we can explore every spot, every corner, every run of the river. This river is unique because you can fish with any technique and be successful. Dry flies, big streamers, nymphs….. you choose. The reason is that is a river that runs through 75 km of inaccessible waters unless you float. And there are only few outfitters that do it. So it has very low fishing pressure. Also the shores are full of willows that make very very difficult to fish from them.

And in May, a special program… we will float the Limay Medio looking for the resident Browns that can be huge, 15 pounder is not rare !!

THE CREW

After almost a decade involved in the wingshooting business as Field and Game manager at Estancia Los Chañares in the world capital of Wingshooting, Córdoba, Martin Carranza decided to give birth a lifetime project, a Fly Fishing Operation in Patagonia.

Martin Carranza is an Agronomist engineer, fisherman and hunter, that loves the outdoors life and who was seduced by Patagonia when he was 15 years old. During his time in Los Chañares learned everything about the Outdoors business and know what the people requires from an outfitter.

He is not alone in this venture, he has a crew of Fly Fishing guides from the area, that make every little aspect of the trip memorable for you. With them you have more than a guide a partner that will lead you to success in your fishing every day. All the crew is commited to attend every detail, and our organizational skill will make this flawless and memorable.

We think that spending a week with a customer needs much more than only guiding and hosting, that’s why we are a group of people that take care of every detail. Our guides are friendly people that live in the area, know English and are specialists on fly fishing. They are going to tell where the trouts are, what fly is the most convenient and if need, they can correct your casting with some advices.
